gift

Yoga District gift certificates are a great way to introduce friends and loved ones to yoga. Valid at any of our six locations, they’re also easy to purchase and deliver online.

Here’s how to purchase:

  1. Customize the desired gift card value, and gift message. You’ll be prompted to provide the recipient’s email and name if you would like the recipient to the be emailed their gift card, or you’ll have the option of printing the certificate yourself.
  2. In order to complete the purchase, sign in with your Yoga District account. If you don’t have an account, create an username and password.
  3. Complete your purchase with a Visa or Mastercard.

Need to redeem a gift certificate?

  1. Find the class, workshop, or special event you wish to attend on our online schedule and proceed to register.
  2. In order to complete the purchase confirming your registration, sign in with you Yoga District account. If you don’t have an account, create an username and password.
  3. Once you have signed in with your Yoga District account to pay for your purchase, input the gift card number emailed or given to you on paper into the “Gift Card Number” groove within the order summary. Once the gift card number has been applied to your purchase, you will only owe the remaining balance (if any) to complete the purchase.
  4. Complete the purchase to ensure registration.

*Redeeming yourself online is much better than bringing in your gift certificate number to the studio for redemption, because sometimes it’s tough for our volunteer desk staff to go through the redemption process while other students might be waiting to check in for class too.

**Please note that if you have any remaining credit on your gift card after your first visit, you’ll need to repeat the redemption process again next time.

We hope this is helpful, and thanks for supporting our not for profit mission!

The Teachers

The diverse family of DC yoga teachers at Yoga District are dedicated to making yoga accessible to everyone through a huge variety of yoga class types, from vinyasa flow to restorative and beyond. Most Yoga District teachers are graduates of Yoga District’s nationally-attended 200 hour teacher training program. All Yoga District classes focus on coordinating breath with body movement to promote flexibility, strength, and peace of mind. We strongly believe in yoga as therapy, so catch one of our classes whenever you need a healthy dose of self-care.

The Next Step

The Yoga District 200 and 500 hour teacher training certification programs, registered by the Yoga Alliance are unique in their emphasis on diversity of teaching styles studied, personal attention, and trauma sensitive yoga. It's no coincidence that Yoga District is regularly voted the leading studio in the nation's capital, and that most of its classes are taught by graduates of its training program. As a full time yoga school, small group trainings are led up to eight times a year by a dedicated faculty including Jasmine Chehrazi, contributor to the Harvard Karma Yoga Project teacher training, teacher training faculty at George Washington University, Yoga Alliance Standards Committee Advisory Board Member, Yoga Activist Founder, and Yoga Service Council Advisory Board Member. So take your practice and community involvement to the next level by joining a training. There's a reason why our graduates call the training "transformative."
