zzz_Yoga Vacation and Teacher Training in Belize

Refresh with us for twelve days at Ak’Bol Yoga Retreat and Eco-Lodge.

You’re warmly invited to join the Yoga District family for twelve days of practice and relaxation. Situated on the peaceful north side of Ambergris Caye, Ak’Bol is a seafront sanctuary a bike ride away from San Pedro, Belize. White sands, beachside hammocks, breathtaking views of the ocean and the company of friends provide an ideal environment to rest and reset, or optionally earn your 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate.

For twelve days, you’ll awaken to tropical birdsong and the sun rising over the world’s second smallest barrier reef. Twice daily yoga classes and specially prepared meals will nourish and restore the physical body, while the serene ocean and meditation gardens provide respite for the mind. Snorkel, explore the reef and lagoons, take an excursion to nearby Maya ruins, or serve your whole body and spirit with affordable massage and other natural health treatments. Choose to deepen your practice through the intensive teacher training, or simply vacation with our community of yoga practitioners. You may also choose to come early or stay late to enjoy the full range of activities Ak’Bol has to offer.

If you choose to sign up for the 200-hour teacher training as part of your getaway, you’ll enjoy transformative yoga and meditation teachings with Yoga District’s senior teachers, exploring an intensive curriculum embracing a holistic approach to yoga teachings, philosophy, and lifestyle. For additional information about our teacher trainings, see the teacher training page.
